Predicting a Babys gender using chinese astrology

The Chinese Gender Calendar was supposedly discovered by a Chinese Scientist who drew this chart which was buried in a Royal tomb about 700 years ago.

Understand basics of Chinese astrology

Know that Chinese astrology signs, which are based on 12 animals, are determined by the year of your birth. The 12 animal signs are the Dog, Dragon, Horse, Monkey, Pig, Ox, Rabbit, Rat, Rooster, Sheep, Snake and Tiger. Each year has its own animal sign, with the same animal sign recurring every 12 years. For instance, 2010 is the Year of the Tiger.

Identify your Lunar year.

Chinese follow a moon based year, which consists of 12 months of alternately 29 and 30 days, equal to 354 days, or approximately 12 full lunar cycles. Western Calendar (Gregorian calendar) is totally different from the Chinese calendar. The start of the lunar year is based on the cycles of the moon. Therefore, because of this cyclical dating, the beginning of the year can fall anywhere between late January and the middle of February. Hence generally If you were born in January or February, your lunar age may be different than your solar age. For example, the Chinese new year of 2010 is at the 14th Feb. Modern Chinese use, the Gregorian calendar is used for most day to day activities, but the Chinese calendar is still used for marking traditional Chinese holidays and festivals, and in astrology, such as choosing the most auspicious date for a house warming function or a wedding.
